The Department of Biotechnology, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Nepal proudly announces the first-ever national-level conference on biotechnology, “The first National Biotechnology Conference 2023”. This widely anticipated conference is set to take place on the 11th and 12th of May at Kathmandu University. The conference aims to address the challenges and opportunities of biotechnology in Nepal by connecting the academia of different disciplines with its industrial counterparts.
The conference will feature keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, online sessions, and oral and poster presentations. Experienced speakers from the relevant sectors will share their experiences and discuss the most recent breakthroughs. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with academic and business leaders and hear about educational and job opportunities.
While biotechnology is a relatively promising subject in Nepal, there are some obstacles linked with it. The 20th anniversary of biotechnology in Nepal signifies a watershed moment in the evolution of cutting-edge biotechnology instruments and organizations.
